Product Overview
Power Spring PS-007 is a multi-layer power spring that stacks multiple coil layers within the same radial space to significantly increase the total energy storage and stroke length compared to single-layer designs. By nesting coil layers concentrically, the PS-007 achieves a higher length-to-thickness ratio while keeping the overall outer diameter compact. This design is the preferred solution for heavy-duty retraction systems that require a long extension range, such as industrial cable reels, compressor pipe retractors, and automotive seat-belt mechanisms where a single-layer spring would be physically too large. The multi-layer construction also distributes stress more evenly across the strip, improving fatigue life under high-cycle conditions.
