Product Overview
Power Spring PS-005 is a housed power spring where the flat steel strip is pre-loaded and retained inside a circular case. The housing prevents the coils from expanding uncontrollably during storage, transport, and installation — allowing the spring to be integrated into products without requiring a custom enclosure within the final assembly. Commonly used in seat-belt retractors, vacuum cleaner cord reels, and automatic rewind mechanisms, the PS-005's enclosed design provides a convenient plug-and-play solution. The housing also protects the spring from contamination, extending its service life in demanding environments.
