Product Overview
Prestressed Power Spring PPS-001 is manufactured from SUS301 stainless steel or precision steel strip, wound in the opposite direction to a standard power spring. The internal pre-stress allows the spring to store 25–55% more energy than a conventional power spring of the same size. When released, it takes an 'S' shape. It delivers stable, high torque with quick response and is suited for fall arresters, air/water hose retractors, and automotive seat belts.
