Product Overview

Variable Force Springs are formed from constant force spring and power spring technology. The VFS-001 features loose coils with T-tab ends, designed to give gentler tension for lightweight products like snacks, pouches, blister packs, and stationery. The pulling force increases the farther the spring is drawn out, making it ideal for display and feeding systems where consistent forward-facing of products is required. In display and feeding systems, the spring connects to a sliding pusher plate: as shoppers remove items, the spring pulls the strip inward, and the pusher plate moves forward, keeping products nearly front-faced. The longer the stroke becomes, the stronger the spring pulls, compensating for reduced weight and maintaining smooth, continuous movement without jerks or gaps.
